Unprofessional behavior of sales staff. They also said the resale for my trade would be 16k, and it’s listed at almost 19k. They only gave 13k. Do not recommend doing business here.

I can't thank Modern Ford In Boone, NC "ENOUGH!!" Dave Chicoine, Brian McCulley and Adam Woodard helped me when my truck started having problems. I had just dropped my granddaughter off at App State and was heading home on a 5 hour trip when I needed their help. They went way overboard to help me at a late hour (the Dealership was actually closing when I walked in) arranging for the service I needed to take place early on the next day. My son and I went t Boone Ford to look at a 2011 Chevy Equinox on June 19, 2021. The The dealership stated the vehicle's condition to be excellent and that it went through a 150 point inspection. The vehicle looked good so we purchased the vehicle. We didn't get 10 miles from the dealership when my son called me stating the vehicle was revving up and not going out of 1st gear as we were headed down a mountain. U MUST be sure to schedule appointment in person OR thru your Salesman. Modern Ford of Boone has schedulers out of Winston Salem (RUDE) Not sure WHY the incompetent scheduler ( where my call was routed) is doing such a bad job representing a GOOD GROUP of people in Boone?!?

If you visit this dealership, they supply a wide assortment of tasty baked goods to sweeten any services! Oh and their service department is courteous and helpful as well... I had my Edge serviced for a noise issue, Jeff test drove the car and was able to identify the problem and the technician, James Brown had the part ordered quickly. A loaner car was provided and I picked the car up the next day. One happy customer! FYI try the chocolate chip cookies...

We decided to purchase a car here because they talked about how important customer service was. Buyer beware! After the sale we only received customer No Service. These people cared nothing about us or our needs after they had made the sale. Regret ever purchasing a car from Modern Ford. Worst buying decision ever!

I used their "convenient" call and reserve number to reserve two cars to view, since I was driving and hour and 45 minutes to come see them.I also made it quite clear that I had CASH IN HAND and was READY TO BUY ON SIGHT. All of the people were wonderful at this delearship, especially Chris Harmon. He took very good care of us and even after we found a small problem with the truck he worked quickly to get the problem fixed. A truly wonderful experience. I hate when people try to sell me something. These guys let me ask my questions, gave me good information and even told me that if it was not in best interest to buy with them, they would help me find another dealer. No pressure, just good people. I did buy from them and recommend to my friends and family they do the same.

They offered to help me purchase a used vehicle (work truck) through their network, asked for a deposit to make sure I was in earnest, stating that the check would not be cashed if they did not find something suitable, that it would go toward the purchase price if they did find one. Great. They purchased a truck at a car sale that was more than I could afford, also stating that they could sell it from their lot if it would not work for me. A specific car or truck is not what I was looking for. I was desperate for something and had already been turned down by my bank and 4 dealerships. The whole works, test drives, demos, credit was ran and so forth. I worked with Jake Cornett and he was very helpful and I was stunned when he called me back and said that he got me approved!! I was turned down by 4 dealerships that said I had to have 1500 down or no deal. My bank said cant do anything. I have to hand it to Boone Ford and especially Jake Cornett ...

I filled out an online credit application and a few days later Jake called back and we went over all the info I filled out and he said he would work on it. Everything seemed fine until we got down to talking about the number and things got fishy. When I was concerned about my interest rate, my trade in value went down, when I commented about that, my down payment went up. I almost signed before I noticed it, then they started back stepping. Amazing experience!!! Best sales man I have ever worked with. 0 pressure, we made a deal on Christmas Eve, came back on Dec 26. Papers ready and waiting, signed and out the door. Less than 1.5 hours total. Mr. Glover (owner) and the finace guy work to get the price were we needed it and gave us lots of options. Like I said amazing!!!

I went in to the dealership to look at a few used Edge's and after talking to Mr. Glover, he recomended me go drive an MKX. WOW!! He knew more about what I wanted than I did! I got a much nicer vehicle than I had anticipated for a price that was great! The finace process was a breeze, and I was in and out of the office in less than an hour. I have never meet anyone in a sales enviroment with such an arrogant or aloof attitude as their finance manager. We ended up leaving and arranging financing with a bank to keep from having to deal with this guy. Terrible customer service. The price on the car was great but as soon as the finance manager realized we were informed shoppers (had already done our research and knew what competitive interest rates were) and were not falling for any financing schemes or extended warranties his attitude changed like a Jekyl and Hyde.
